Let's Get Acquainted
With over 20 years of experience, Eric Burson is an independent educational consultant who has helped thousands of students navigate their college admissions process. He has been working with students since 2000 and loves it!
Eric has worked at a top 10 public high school, Grosse Pointe South High School, for years. His students have gotten into every Ivy League school, including Stanford, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago. Each year, dozens of his students are accepted into the University of Michigan.
Eric received his undergraduate degree in Business from Wayne State University, along with two Masters Degrees in Social Studies Education and Guidance and Counseling. He has also completed coursework through South Dakota State University, Madonna University, and more recently through Oakland University and Purdue University.
Eric has lived in Grosse Pointe for over 20 years. He is married with one daughter, Claire, who is a graduate from Michigan State University and the University of Detroit Mercy - so he has survived this adventure both personally and professionally!
